Telefónica is one of the world’s leading integrated telecommunications companies, with almost 265 million accesses and a significant international presence in Europe and Latin America. Telefónica serves nearly 47 million customers in Spain, approximately 169 million in Latin America and over 49 million in the other European countries where it operates. The Telefónica Group generates over 60% of its revenue outside Spain, and is the benchmark carrier in the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking markets. The Group is the fourth-largest telecommunications company in the world in terms of market capitalisation. It is the largest full-service European carrier and it ranks fourth on the DJ EURO STOXX 50.
