Criteria CaixaCorp makes every effort to ensure that its portal is accessible, irrespective of the type of hardware, software, network infrastructure, culture, geographic location or capacity of the users.

The initiative that controls and marks the norms of website accessibility is the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI), developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

The guidelines for web contents (WCAG 1.0) have been applied for AA accessibility level in the different channels of the portal, including, among others, the following actions:

• structuring of the pages through the heading elements
• control of the presentation of the pages through a style sheet (css)
• clear identification of each page through the use of metadata
• use of a clear and concise language in texts, headings and links
