  • This line of business features essentially international holdings in the banking sector, in the countries in which we can contribute added value and make use of their potential for growth.
  • Criteria CaixaCorp, through the acquisition of financial entities, is a medium for the international expansion of "la Caixa" Group, preferably in America, Asia, Central Europe. The same goes for geographically close markets where Criteria could generate value, and countries with opportunities for growth and where the experience of "la Caixa" can be best used.
  • Our strategy involves greater exposure in financial business, particularly on the international market, through the acquisition of bank holdings aimed at retail banking, or with a strategy of encouraging this segment of business.
