David K.P. Li was appointed to our Board in September 2007.

He is Chairman and Chief Executive of The Bank of East Asia, Ltd.

Dr. Li holds directorships in several international and Hong Kong listed companies and he serves on numerous international advisory boards.

He is a member of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Banking Advisory Committee, and serves as Chairman of the Chinese Banks’ Association.

He was a member of the Preparatory Committee for the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Deputy Chairman of the Basic Law Drafting Committee in Hong Kong.

He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants.
