Gonzalo Gortázar Rotaeche. Director

Gonzalo Gortázar has been the CEO of Criteria CaixaCorp.

Member of the Board of Directors of Criteria CaixaCorp since May 2009.

Born October 12, 1965. Graduated in Law and Business Studies from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and holds an MBA in Business Administration from INSEAD.

Began working as a private banking financial advisor at Bancapital (Mercapital group) in 1988 and then went on to hold various corporate banking and investment banking positions at Bank of America.

Joined Morgan Stanley in 1993 where he has held various managerial positions in the investment banking division. Since 2006 he has headed the European Financial Institutions Group there.

He has extensive experience in the financial sector where he has worked on various corporate and M&A deals in Europe and the US in recent years.

He currently is Chairman of Inversiones Autopistas. He is Director of VidaCaixa de Seguros y Reaseguros, Director of SegurCaixa de Seguros y Reaseguros and alternate director of GF Inbursa. In December 2009, he was appointed member of the Board of Port Aventura Entertainment, S.A. In June 2010 he has been appointed member of The Board of Directors of Compañía de Seguros Adeslas and membrer of The Board of Hisusa.
