Board of Directors

Juan Rosell Lastortras. Director

Juan Rosell Lastortras was appointed to our board in September 2007.

He is Chairman of OMB, of Sistemas Integrados para la Higiene Urbana and of Congost Plastic. Born in 1957, he holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Barcelona.

He has received numerous awards, of which we would highlight the Merit Order Gold Medal of the Official and International Trade Fair of Barcelona; the Silver Medal of the Official Chamber of Commerce and Navigation of Barcelona; the Commendatore al Merito of the Republic of Italy , and the Golden Key to the City of Barcelona.

He has served as Managing Director of Juguetes Congost and Chairman of Enher (1996-1999), Fecsa-Enher (1999-2002) and Uniland Group (2005-2006). He has also been a board member of Sociedad General de Aguas de Barcelona, Endesa Italia and Endesa.

He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Siemens España, Applus Servicios Tecnológicos, Corporación Uniland, Gas Natural and is member of the Zona Franca Consortium in Barcelona. In December 2009, he has been appointed member of the Board of Port Aventura Entertainment, S.A.

He is also Chairman of Fomento del Trabajo Nacional and the Institute of International Logistics, Trustee of the FC Barcelona Foundation, Deputy Chairman of the Confederación Española de Organizaciones Empresariales (CEOE), Deputy Chairman of the Spanish Modern Pentathlon Federation and member of the Mont Pelerin Society.
