Member of the Board of Directors of Criteria CaixaCorp since May 2009.
Born August 1, 1958, she studied pharmacy at the Universitat de Barcelona.
She has been a union representative at “la Caixa” since 1986 and has also held the position of vice president of the Catalonian council on economic and social work (CTESC); secretary of the Women’s Secretariat (Secretaria de la Dona) between 2000 and 2004; Vallès Oriental employment secretary between 2000 and 2004; and secretary of socioeconomic action of the CCOO trade union between 2004 and 2008.
She served as a member of the management council of the Catalonian employment service (SOC) of the further education consortium and academic council of Catalonia (Consorci de la Formació Contínua i del Consell Escolar) until 2009.
She is also a member of the Executive Committee, secretary of communication and spokesperson for the CCOO trade union in Catalonia (9th Conference of the Catalonian CCOO).
She has currently been serving as a member of the national Catalonian workers’ commission (CONC) since 2000, as well as a member of the executive committee of the Catalonian CCOO since 2001 and of the Federal CCOO Council of Spain since 2004.
She has been a member of the General Assembly of “la Caixa” representing employees registered with the workers’ trade unions since June 2003 and has been a member of the Board of Directors of “la Caixa” and its Executive Committee and Investment Committee since April 2009. In June 2009, she was appointed member of the Board of Saba Aparcamientos. She is a member of Board of Directors of Microbank of “la Caixa” since October 2009. In January 2010 she was appointed member of Board of Directors of Autopistas, Concesionaria EspaƱola.
